West Virginia lawmakers are the latest to adopt new laws surrounding tanning salons and teens. On May 1 West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin signed a law that requires teenagers using sunbeds in tanning salons to have a signed parental consent form.

During the winter months there are more emergency shelter beds for those who live on the streets in Toronto. The Out of the Cold program adds at least 50 additional beds a night during the coldest months. That program ends as April arrives.
