The petition is in hopes of preventing the death of Nazanin Fatehi, 19, who was sentenced to death at age 17 for for stabbing one of three men who attempted to rape her and her 16 year-old niece. "There is no place for this in any country or any planet," she said of a woman being killed for killing her rapist. "This is a human-rights case." She is ignoring threats in hopes of saving this womans life in trying to get the courts to be lenient. I know they have different laws than we do, but I cannot believe any country would sentence someone to death for trying to protect yourself and your niece and to think this law is ok. I know women have no rights there but this is just unbelievable.
