Review: The Ultra will blow your mind with rocking 'Getaway' video Special

On August 8, Boston band The Ultra released their new music video for their single "Getaway." Digital Journal has the scoop.

"Getaway" has a killer electric guitar solo. It is the lead single from The Ultra's forthcoming EP, which was recorded in Los Angeles, California, with producer and engineer Courtney Ballard, who has worked with such diverse musical acts as Good Charlotte, 5 Seconds of Summer and All-Time Low.
Their song's music video features Molly Curley. The video for "Getaway" was filmed and directed by Ben Meyers.
The Ultra is made up of Alec MacGillivray on vocals, Sam August on guitar, Shaq Druyan on drums, as well as Pat Lyons on bass. The band has been on tour, in a partnership with iHeart Media, PepsiCo and Foxwoods Resort Casino. They will be performing at Stage 1 of the Rockwood Music Hall in New York on September 7.
"Getaway" is available on Spotify, and on iTunes.
The Verdict
Overall, The Ultra's new song "Getaway" is infectious and a great deal of fun. It is one of those tunes that one can listen to while rolling the windows down in the car. It garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.
