This online portal enables direct donations of youth sports equipment, as well as footwear and apparel for multiple sports activities. It gives people the chance to donate hand-picked items directly to the children who need it the most. These sports include football, soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, hockey, track and field, general fitness and lacrosse.
Jesse Palmer, a former Florida quarterback, as well as college football analyst on ESPN, and host of DailyMail TV serves a national spokesperson for Good Sports. Baseball pitcher Chris Archer of the Tampa Bay Rays, football linebacker Connor Barwin of the Los Angeles Rams, and football receiver Brice Butler of the Dallas Cowboys serve as professional athlete ambassadors of Good Sports; moreover, Christy Keswick is the COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Good Sports.
Good Sports is a national nonprofit organization that is dedicated to reversing the decline in youth sports participation by directly addressing one of the major barriers to play, the rising costs. Most impressive about Good Sports is that since 2003 it has provided over $22 million worth of new sports equipment and apparel to more than 3,200 youth programs in all 50 states, thus impacting over 4.4 million kids.
