They will play the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, on September 26. This will mark their first time playing that historic stage in almost five years.
Front-man and original lead singer Doug Gray recalled that when they played the Grand Ole Opry in 2011, for their debut performance, it was one of their proudest moments of their career. "It's been a while since we've had a chance to visit again so you can imagine how excited we are to return to the stage that made country music famous," Gray said, with excitement.
On that night, they will be sharing the stage with such musical acts as Rascal Flatts, Dailey & Vincent, and Carlene Carter, among many others.
This show at the Opry will be a tour stop on The Marshall Tucker Band's "45th Live in Concert Tour," which celebrates the band's 45th year of touring.
On December 7, they will be performing at The Paramount in Huntington on Long Island, and on December 16, they will be playing their annual holiday show at the B.B. King Blues Club in the heart of New York City.
