Robert Plant to release new solo album 'Carry Fire'

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Robert Plant (from Led Zeppelin) has announced that he will be releasing his new solo album, "Carry Fire" on October 13 via Warner Bros./Nonesuch Records.

His first track "The May Queen" is available, and he will be announced a world tour in 2018. This will mark his eleventh career solo album, as well as his first full-length CD since 2014.
In this new collection, Plant is accompanied by The Sensational Space Shifters, which are comprised of such musicians as John Baggot, Justin Adams, Dave Smith and Liam "Skin" Tyson; moreover, it will feature such special guest artists as Chrissie Hynde from The Pretenders, who sings with him on "Bluebirds Over The Mountain," Albanian cellist Redi Hasa (who performs on three songs) and Seth Lakeman on viola and fiddle.
Their forthcoming world tour will kick off in November of 2017 in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and it will be followed by additional tour dates all over the globe.
Aside from the opening track "The May Queen," the album will include such songs as "Season's Song," "Dance With You Tonight," "A Way With Words," the title cut, "Bones of Saints," "Keep It Hid," his duet with Chrissie Hynde, as well as the closing tune "Heaven Sent." The CD was produced by the rock star, Robert Plant, himself.
