"We're honored to celebrate the life and career of Grammy-winning country artist Lynn Anderson in an exhibition opening September 15, 2017! #cmhof50," the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum posted on their Facebook page.
This exhibit will run in the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville until June 24, 2018. Her contributions to country music genre were substantial, and she was a true pioneer for women.
In 1970, Anderson's signature song "Rose Garden" became a No. 1 hit on country radio, and No. 3 pop hit propelling the country songstress to stardom. A few years later, Anderson became the first female country artist to headline and sell-out New York's Madison Square Garden.
