German DJ and producer ATB (André Tanneberger) will be releasing his tenth studio album, "Next," in honor of his 20-year anniversary in music.
Chris Lührman
This marks his first studio effort in three long years, so the wait for his fans is over. Next is a crossover album that incorporates modern-day trance, especially since it features down-tempo tracks; moreover, it encompasses all 20 years of the electronic music star's career.
This new project includes a wide range of collaborations and special musical guests across the spectrum. It is divided into two segments, where the first part is a fresh take on his quintessential sound (which is known for filling out dance clubs for decades), and the second segment deals with the chill atmospheres and ambient soundscapes. Overall, it is a collection of 25 new tracks in total.
ATB's commercial success began with "9PM (Till I Come)," which catapulted to No. 1 in the United Kingdom in the late 90's, and ever since, his career in the electronic dance music scene has been very prolific.
His previous studio album, Contact, reached the Top 5 on the German charts in 2014, and ATB went on to headline festivals all over the world, which garnered him a spot in the Top 20 of the "Most Popular DJs in the World of All Time."
Next is available on iTunes.
