What a start for quarterbacks to begin the 2016 NFL season as ten signal callers are averaging over 280 yards per game, making this one of the most important positions in fantasy football.

Injuries have taken a toll for a few teams, in particular Cleveland, who have had six different players under center already this year and will go into week eight with rookie Kevin Hogan set to make his first start for the win-less Browns. The fifth round draft pick out of Stanford is one of the best waiver wire options for this weekend as he faces a struggling NY Jets squad.
According to Bleacher Report writer David McCracken, Russell Wilson of Seattle is projected to have the best game on Sunday as the Seahawks face New Orleans, who has struggled to stop everyone this season. Despite an offensive line that needs help, look for Wilson to hit a few deep passes and despite his lack of running the football this season, 20+ points are a strong possibility.
Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons suffered their second straight defeat on Sunday to San Diego, but the veteran QB is averaging 335 yards per game and despite facing one of the leagues best defenses in Green Bay, expect another solid game and a big point total for those owners who put the signal caller in their lineups this week.
Tom Brady has returned in style, leading the Patriots to three straight wins and averaging well over 300 yards per game in the process. New England in on the road against AFC East rival Buffalo, who won earlier this year when the veteran was still on suspension, so look for a bit of revenge as the Pats' look to take control of the division with a win on Sunday.
For those fantasy football owners searching for help this week, Alex Smith of Kansas City is another solid choice off the waiver wire. The Chiefs offense is clicking and this weeks opponent Indianapolis isn't playing well on the defensive side of the ball. The NFL is all about match ups and this week the former first round pick has a great one against the Colts.
