When NFL teams struggle, the first player under the microscope is usually the quarterback and that's the case with Miami. The Dolphins have invested time and money on Ryan Tannehill and are still waiting for a return.

Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall are an effective one-two punch, but they'll have their work cut out for them this week.
The window of opportunity is closing on the 28-year-old and rumors have started on his possible departure as the teams starting signal caller and who the front office could add to help lend some stability to the position moving forward.
One thing is clear, finding a new face of the franchise is needed, but that could take some time, but Johnny David of Sports Rageous could have the answer as he's reported that Jay Cutler of the Chicago Bears could also lose his starting job and be traded to the Fins' before the trade deadline.
Cutler was injured two weeks ago and backup Brian Hoyer came in and did a terrific job, in fact, the veteran led the team to its only win of the young season by completing 28 of 36 throws for 300 yards and two touchdowns, leading some experts to believe he could become QB-1, even after Cutler returns to health.
A trade of the veteran makes sense, it would give Miami a short-term solution behind center, allowing the front office to use the NFL Draft next April to get the player the need, but also give whoever they take a good mentor, someone who knows what it takes to succeed at a professional level and a year or two to grow into the position.
Tannehill still has something to offer, but his confidence is gone and it seems after five years in the league, he still hasn't learned much form past mistakes. This franchise needs new blood and while Cutler isn't the long-term answer, he is an upgrade and with the good group of young wide receivers already on the squad, it could help build some momentum and make this team much better heading into the 2017 season.
