The song was co-penned by Harmon, Jimmy Robbins, and Laura Veltz, and was produced by Robbins. It was released on his record label, Big Machine Records.
"There's a girl somewhere in Tupelo, who's with a guy she barely knows, probably sell his soul for a kiss, there's a girl somewhere in Arkansas, who's talking with a southern drawl," Harmon sings.
The single is extremely radio-friendly and fun. His baritone vocals are reminiscent of country duo Dan + Shay meets The Swon Brothers. It is no wonder that New York's hit country music station, NASH FM 94.7, has been playing it regularly on its radio airwaves.

The Verdict
Overall, Trent Harmon garners 4.5 out of 5 stars for "There's a Girl." He deserves to make it big in country music, since it seems that this genre is his niche.
