Comedian Margaret Cho is back with her newest music video for "(I Want To) Kill My Rapist," and it is on a sophisticated topic.
The music video for "(I Want To) Kill My Rapist" was directed by Bryan Mir, co-directed by Ben Eisner and produced by Briana Gonzales; moreover, Cho served as its executive producer. The song was co-penned by Cho, as well as Andy Moraga, and Roger Rocha.
In the music video Margaret Cho stars opposite such actors as Hye Yun Park, Kate Willett, Selene Luna, Jackson Hurst, Arne Gjelten, Lisa McNeely, Emilia Black, Karen Barraza, among others.
From a melodic standpoint, it is the antithesis of her sassy "Fat Pussy" music video, which was witty and a great deal of fun.
The Verdict
Overall, Margaret Cho is not afraid to showcase her serious side or vulnerability on this new music video of hers. It is on a controversial topic, yet her fans and listeners may be able to relate to its sensitive subject matter. It is worth giving well more than just a passing glance.
