Adele noted in a press release that her previous album was a "break-up record," and she describes this new collection as a "make-up record." The British singer-songwriter is making up with herself, as well as for lost time, and she is making up for everything she ever did and never did.
She will be releasing the album on November 20, and this marks her first new music since her Academy Award-winning song "Skyfall," which came out in 2012. Her album's breakthrough single, "Hello," will be available for purchase on October 23, and its music video will be released on the same day.
The video for her new song "Hello" was filmed in the countryside in Montreal, and it was directed by Canadian director Xavier Dolan.
Aside from "Hello," the new album will feature such songs as "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)," "I Miss You," "When We Were Young," "Remedy," "Water Under The Bridge," "River Lea," "Love In The Dark," "Million Years Ago," "All I Ask" and the closing track "Sweetest Devotion."
Throughout her respected career in the entertainment industry, Adele has garnered an Academy awards, a Golden Globe award, as well as 10 Grammy awards.
