NFL Fantasy Football: Week 3 running back rankings

Its been surprisingly quiet for running backs through the first two weeks of the NFL season, but with some favorable match ups in week 3, it's not time to give up on some star players.

Injuries have already hit the league hard and for fantasy football owners, having some decent depth is imperative, but for those who drafted Arian Foster before the year started, it looks like Houston's star play maker will play this weekend against Tampa Bay.
Foster is among the best backs in football and his return couldn't come at a better time. The Bucs' defense is allowing 114 yards per game on the ground and that's against a couple of weak rushing teams. With Houston struggling to run the ball with backups, the Texans offense should get back on track with a solid performance from their star.
Jamaal Charles is the best dual-threat weapon from the backfield in football and his Kansas City Chiefs love to use the running game. This week they face Green Bay, who is allowing over 150 yards per game and a whopping 5.3 yards per carry.
Fantasy football owners with Charles in their lineup in week 3 should be licking their lips as a big game is in order and for those leagues that give bonus points based on yards, a big week 3 score should be on tap.
Seattle is off to a slow start, losing their first two games of the year, but a return to the Pacific Northwest and a game against Chicago should get this team back in the winning column. Marshawn Lynch is due for a big game and with the Bears allowing 4.3 yards per carry, fantasy football owners must make "Beast Mode" a starter in the upcoming week.
For those looking for help, watching the injury list can help. Finding a backup with a good match up can give owners a few extra points that can win a league game and keep a league title hope alive until a star player returns to form.
