On celebrating her third anniversary with Karyzma Agency, Delage said, "It's simply amazing. I mean when you start your own business even passing one year is a milestone. Now, three years is a huge accomplishment. We are growing everyday and it's just a dream come true."
Her proudest moments with her company include getting her first pieces of coverage in the United States. "One was front page of a paper and the other one most recently was a segment on NBC in Miami. Another proud moment was working with Will Smith two years ago in Montreal. That was a major step in my career. Finally, starting my own firm and being where I am today. A lot of people are afraid to let go and follow their dreams, which is what I did even if people weren't sure it was the right way to go, and three years later I can say it was the best decision I ever made. It is a scary world sometimes but I wouldn't go back," she elaborated.
Regarding Delage's plans for the future, she said, "In the next two years, I would like to expand in the United States of America and get more clients there, and do more collaborations with some firms down south, and organize more and more events. Also, I would like to explore Europe and get more clients from there. In the next five years, I would love to open an office in Los Angeles."
On the key to longevity in the PR industry, Delage said, "PR can be a tricky world sometimes. I think that to have a long life in this industry you need to be real with everyone, true to yourself, believe in your ideas and make sure you are always there for your clients, pretty much 24/7."
For aspiring publicists, Delage underscored that they need to be prepared to work hard. "Yes, we have the glitz and glamour and the parties but behind the scene, PR professionals are some of the hardest workers. We barely sleep, we make sure everything is perfect and put everyone before ourselves."
