The first trailer for the first-ever DC Comics film crossover, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, is available to watch right now. This highly-anticipated film is scheduled to hit theaters late-winter 2016, which is in March.
Whether you like it or not, Ben Affleck is playing multi-billionaire Bruce Wayne aka Batman. It is best that you deal with it because the film's scheduled to hit theaters next year unless something happens that causes Warner Brothers to do otherwise.
Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Clark Kent aka Superman from Man of Steel.
Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones and Stargate: Atlantis) will play Arthur Curry aka Aquaman and Gal Gadot will play Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman.
Ray Fisher will play Victor Stone aka Cyborg.
Jeremy Irons will play the role of Alfred Pennysworth, Bruce Wayne's personal butler and surrogate father figure.
IMDb has Ezra Miller (Royal Pains RX) rumored to play Barry Allen aka The Flash.
The trailer begins with talking about how Superman, an alien, is being worshiped as a false god. It shows Superman has his growing list of critics, who feel incredibly threatened by him. You can listen to Alfred's voice-over telling Batman that powerlessness can turn good people into cruel people.
Then the trailer ends with Batman about to have a one-versus-one battle against Superman.
Batman asks Superman, “does he bleed?”
He ensures that Superman will bleed by the time that the fight is over.
An exact story behind Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has not been given out. This official trailer was released after someone leaked it online a few days ago.
Many are left to speculate on the success of this movie.
This is not Ben Affleck's first time playing a superhero. His first role was in Daredevil, which came out in 2002. This is not to be confused with Marvel's Daredevil, currently streaming on Netflix, where British actor Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire) has taken on the role of Matthew Murdock aka Daredevil.
