It is the follow-up to their rendition of "Problem" by pop princess Ariana Grande.
As Digital Journal reported, they will be releasing two albums this fall.
"La La Latch" is the third track on their forthcoming studio album PTX VOL. III, which will be out on October 21, via their new record label, RCA Records.
They manage to produce a true vocal event with "La La Latch," solely with their unique vocals. It is an interesting mash-up of "Latch" by electronic duo Disclosure featuring British music sensation Sam Smith, as well as "La La La," yet another Sam Smith collaboration with DJ Naughty Boy.
Scott Hoying's vocals on "La La Latch" are reminiscent of Grammy-winning soul singer Seal, Kirstie Maldonado is magnificent on the high votes with her crystalline voice, and Kevin Olusola showcases his superb beat-boxing ability. Mitch Grassi and Avi Kaplan both maintain good control over the vocals, and they help elevate the tune to a higher level, as they all soar on their united harmonies. It garners two thumbs up.
