"I have a problem; I pick my face!" Upton told Marie Claire. "I can't leave it alone and it gets to the point where I need a professional to take over. If I'm in New York I'll see Christine Chin at her spa. I love her microdermabrasion treatment."
Whatever she's doing is working, since Upton is consistently rated one of the hottest women in the world by men's magazines.
Kate, 21, has appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue two years in a row and is a regular on the covers of high-profile fashion magazines.
Not surprisingly, the buxom 5-foot-10 blonde bombshell follows a healthy diet and works out regularly. Fortunately, Upton enjoys exercise. "I love going to the gym," she said. "I try to go three times a week. I live a very stressful lifestyle, so it's good for me to work all that stress out."
Kate's trainer, David Kirsch, told Elle she is extremely disciplined about her workout routine. Upton said she prefers to eat well because a healthy diet makes her look and feel her best.
"I'm lucky because I genuinely prefer healthy treats like shakes, smoothies and juices," she said. "I feel better when I'm drinking them; my body feels better and I'm more awake."
Despite having made the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue two years in a row, Upton has been widely criticized for being too meaty to be a supermodel.
Kate said she's stunned her weight is such a hot topic, but answers the criticism by embracing her curves.
“It’s kind of funny to think, 'The news is talking about whether I’m fat or not," she told Vogue. “It was hard at first. You sit there and you’re like, ‘Is something wrong with me?’ I can work out and I can stay healthy, but I can’t change some things. I love my body."
