Country singer and songwriter Dylan Scott is back with his new radio single "Mmm, Mmm, Mmm." He is signed to Sidewalk Records.

It is quite different than his previous musical work such as "Makin' This Boy Go Crazy," but it shows his diverse side as a recording artist.
The song has a Jake Owen ("Beachin'" and "Eight Second Ride") meets Colt Ford vibe to it, especially since he displays his smooth baritone and rap vocals. He accompanies himself on acoustic guitar.
What is great about the chorus is one does not even need to open their mouth. All they need to do is hum "mmm, mmm, mmm." It is ideal to listen to after a long day's work.
"Like a plateful of grandma's chicken, apple-butter dripping off that biscuit, like a pie out the oven real hot, with a little bit of whip on top," he sings.
The Verdict
Overall, Dylan Scott's new song garners a B+ rating. While I prefer "Makin' This Boy Go Crazy" a lot more, this tune showcases his brevity to try new things. Having been afforded to privilege to see Scott perform live this past winter in Patchogue, New York, I can attest that he is one of Nashville's promising male artists for sure.
