Country Music Hall of Famer Willie Nelson proves that he is a musician that only gets better with age. Despite being 81 years old, he has topped the charts once again.

This time, it is with his new album Band of Brothers, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Albums charts, for the week of July 5. This marks his first chart-topping country album since The Promiseland, which was released on Columbia Records, peaked at No. 1 in 1986.
His latest CD also landed in the Top 5 on the Billboard 200 all-genre album charts.
Nine out of its 14 tracks were co-written by Nelson himself, and it includes a cover of the Vince Gill-penned single "Whenever You Come Around," as well as "The Git Go," a duet with neo-traditionalist country star Jamey Johnson.
On June 10, Nelson played a show at Radio City Music Hall with Alison Krauss and Union Station, as well as Kacey Musgraves.
Last year, the country living legend performed a concert at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury, which was well-received, as Digital Journal previously reported.
