Country darling Danielle Bradbery posted the music video for her new single "Young in America" on May 16 on her YouTube channel.

It is the opening track of her eponymous debut album, which was released on Big Machine Records. It was co-written by country singer Whitney Duncan, Jaren Johnston (from The Cadillac Three) and Kylie Sackley.
In the video, Bradbery is seen sporting a new hair-dye (where she is no longer a blonde) and it has a liberating theme and youthful vibe to it. She is walking in the wide open fields, taking a ride with her friends in a van, playing cards, having fun with her friends, running wild and free, lighting a few firecrackers (as if it were a Fourth of July celebration) and wearing the American flag on her shoulders. The fiddle heard on the song is a nice treat. Similar to her breakthrough music video for "The Heart of Dixie," Bradbery dresses to impress.
The Verdict
So far, Danielle Bradbery is two for two when it comes to filming top-notch music videos. Her clear vocals are refreshing and she stands out as one of the finest female talents that the modern country genre of music has to offer. This new song and it's music video garner 4.5 out of 5 stars. It is a celebration of youth and life. I hope the radio airwaves play more of Bradbery, especially at a time when they constantly play songs by male artists about pick-up trucks, drinking beer, pretty girls and partying.
