In a report for Daily Mail, the lawsuit claims the Porsche Carrera GT, which careened out of control that led to the fatal crash killing Rodas and Walker, had a faulty suspension. It also stated that the driver, Rodas, tried to keep the car on the road, but failed to do so because of the defective suspension, which made it lose control to hit the light pole.
Kristine filed the case at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, which blamed the car manufacturer for the lack of "racing fuel cell" and "car cage" also said in the report. The car Rodas drove exploded upon impact, which could have been prevented if it had the "fuel cell," a race car standard. These cells prevent fuel from exploding if there is an impact. In the litigation, Porsche claimed their "Carrera GT to be as close to a race car.”
TMZ confirmed that Rodas' widow filed the case, where it is said that Porsche ignored the other crashes involving the Carrera GT, but still didn't give any warnings to its customers. Mark Geragos, a popular Hollywood prosecutor, will be the lawyer of the lawsuit, which will be suing Porsche for product liability, negligence and wrongful death of Walker and Rodas.
