That is what he does with his latest cover of British singer-songwriter Jessie Ware's "Wildest Moments." He shared the rehearsal footage of his version of the tune, which was broken down into four small black and white clips on his Instagram page.
The first segment starts out slow, yet raw and powerful. It builds up on range and emotion as the song continues into the second and third clips respectively.
The fourth and final clip is quite spectacular, especially since he reiterates the title several times, and leaves his fans, which are affectionately known as Glamberts, thirsty for more.
While the original version by Ware is a superb vocal performance, Lambert's noteworthy rendition gave it a fresh, male perspective. It is tender, angelic and heartfelt and overall, compelling. It garners an "A" rating for sure.
The British songstress seemed to have been impressed with his version since she posted a photo of her and Lambert together on Twitter, which he re-tweeted to his 2.2 million followers. "How perfect!!! Finally we meet," Ware posted on her social network.
