Op-Ed: Animated Video — 2013 in one whole minute

Posted Dec 29, 2013 by Anne Sewell
So someone put together an animated video, one whole minute in length, which captures everything you needed to know about 2013. You'll never guess which personages feature most ... or maybe you will?
Published by ADHD (Animation Domination High-Def), apparently in conjunction with Fox, what is chilling to note is that the "celebrities" that appear most are Miley Cyrus, US President Barack Obama and Justin Bieber.
What does that say about us?
OK, there are brief appearances by the Pope (as in Pope Fiction), Kim Jong-Un (North Korea), Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (Boston Bombing), Bradley Manning (you know him), Breaking Bad stars, that Toronto mayor guy who smoked crack, makes a complete fool of himself and still manages to hang on to his job (what's his name again?), among several others.
However the winners are definitely Cyrus (twerking, tongue slurping, riding on a wrecking ball, you name it), followed by Obama (painting himself into a corner, etc) followed by Bieber, but maybe not quite so prominently (sorry Biebs).
While everything bad that has happened in 2013 was happening, there most of you all were, watching Miley shaking her butt, swinging away nekked on a wrecking ball, puffing dope on stage and hanging out that awful coated tongue ... Personally the writer prefers the little bearded naked guy doing a Miley impression, but there we go.
Then there was little Bieber... nah, let's not mention him.
However on a more positive note, it seems people have finally started to notice what Obama is up to. Go figure.
Apparently you can even make your own animated videos using this website.
