The auditions for the next installment of 'Star Wars' have begun in the U.K. Aside from the returning old crew, the filmmakers are keen to cast a new tranche of unknowns.

The auditions are taking place this weekend in Bristol, which is located in south-west England. The BBC reported that hundreds of people began queuing at a Bristol arts centre since the early hours of Friday morning, in the hope of celluloid stardom (or, failing that, the next Hayden Christensen).
With the release date for the next Star Wars film set for December 2015, the Disney-owned franchise is keen to find the right type of "young" people to carry the film series through to the next generation.
The search is on for a young woman and a young man, presumably to play the children of either Luke Skywalker or Han Solo. The casting brief is: "The parts are for a 'street smart' girl in her late teens and a 'smart capable' man in his late teens or early 20s," according to Sky News.
The brief also states that one actor will be selected to play a teenage girl, dubbed Rachel, aged 17-18 and one to play a young man, called Thomas, aged 19-23. The names are evidently pseudonyms to hide the real names of the intergalactic characters.
According to the Bristol Post, an estimated 4,500 people arrived at casting venue — The Arnolfini — on Saturday alone.
By the end of this weekend, 'The Force' will be with two young actors.
