It opens with a remix of Carrie Underwood's "Two Black Cadillacs" blended in with the Dolly Parton classic "Jolene." This is a great combination since it combines two of country's premier female vocalists into one tune.
It is followed by remix of Alabama's "Dixieland Delight," where Dee Jay Silver tips his hat to the iconic country group Alabama.
His remix of Love and Theft's chart-topping single "Angel Eyes" is refreshing and pure ear candy.
The four-track EP closes with a remix of Jake Owen's "Barefoot Blue Jean Night," yet another catchy and infectious tune.
The Verdict
Overall, Dee Jay Silver proves that he is a genius when it comes to remixing some of the country genre's finest recordings, both traditional and modern. This is one solid EP that is recommended for all music fans. I am looking forward to a full-length remix project from Dee Jay Silver in the near future.
