'Ministry' guitarist Mike Scaccia dies after onstage incident

Mike Scaccia, most prominently known for his work with bands like Ministry and Rigor Mortis, collapsed and died on stage Saturday in Fort Worth, Texas on December 22, 2012.

As Rolling Stone notes, Scaccia was part of the burgeoning industrial metal scene when he played on Ministry's acclaimed Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and the Way to Suck Eggs.
Details regarding the incident are still forthcoming but Scaccia is confirmed dead.
According to the Dallas News, Scaccia was pronounced dead at 12:26 a.m. in the emergency room of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital.
Scaccia was 47 years old.
Ministry, the band most closely associated with Scaccia, is an industrial metal band formed in 1981.
The band's comments have been uplifting and characterized by affectionate remarks for Scaccia, who also contributed to music education via an extensive online presence and training videos.
Scaccia's fierce, consistently inventive guitar work marked the bands that he performed with, and he became a familiar face in the 1980's and 1990's metal scene.
According to reports, Scaccia fell into a seizure whilst performing at The Rail Club.
