: According to Israeli Prime Ministers Netanyahu, the world must understand that Israel will respond to any attempt to attack us. According to an unnamed senior Israeli government official, "a ground incursion is certainly not out of the question although we hope it won't come to that."
From Israel National News
: “Israelis Iron Dome anti-missile system intercepted two Grad rockets aimed at the strategic port city of Ashkelon Monday, but rural areas closer to Gaza sustained a dozen attacks. A missile attack on Ashkelon could be devastating if it were to strike oil and gas storage tanks and pipelines or a huge power station, which supplies electricity to most of southern Israel.”
From Army Technology News
: “Iron Dome is an effective, truck-towed mobile air defense system developed by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. The system has been developed to counter very short range rockets and artillery shell (155mm) threats with ranges of up to 70km. It can be operated in all weather conditions including fog, dust storm, low clouds and rain.”

: Israeli military war-planners believe that a conventional assault on Iran's nuclear facilities might fail when evidence emerged that Tehran has hidden more of its uranium enrichment capacity beneath a mountain than previously suspected. Western defense analysts believe Iran's enrichment site near the city of Qom is deep underground in a "zone of immunity" safe from conventional airstrikes. Only nuclear weapons can penetrate this site.
