President Obama has a secret weapon that will help ensure his re-election this November, and he shared it openly from the campaign trail on the 38th season of "Saturday Night Live."
Obama, played this season by Jay Pharoah, first sought to differentiate himself from Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney, by highlighting a key distinction between their families.
"Before we start," Obama said. "Sasha, Malia: go to bed. I do that to remind you that I have two adorable young daughters and not five creepy adult sons."
The president then expressed his confidence in winning the upcoming election and cited former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney as his secret weapon in doing so. Obama showcased Romney on the campaign trail and made his case by showing footage of Romney - played well by Jason Sudeikis, who has returned to SNL through the election season, as Huffington Post reported.
The contrasts between the two presidential contenders made themselves immediately apparent, and President Obama's conclusion could not be more painfully realized.
"The man is a Christmas miracle," Obama said. "So, there's your choice America. Stick with what's been barely working or take your chances with that."
