Scientists are showing us what other mammals look like in the womb, thanks to revolutionary four-dimensional scanning technology. Here are the top five photos of animals in their mothers' wombs.

Researchers captured the images for a National Geographic
documentary called 'Extraordinary Animals in the Womb'. As the Daily Mail
writes, the photos were taken "by using a combination of three-dimensional ultrasound scans, computer graphics and small cameras to document the animals’ development from conception to birth, and give an unparalleled glimpse into a world that few of us would ever expect to see."
