Photos of dog protecting puppies from house fire go viral
One of the latest aww-worthy photos to go viral online focus on a German Shepherd reportedly saving her puppies from a house fire in Chile. The photos show Amanda gripping her pups in her jaws and placing them on a fire truck.

According to one media
report, Amanda noticed a house fire and "picked the pups up in her mouth and moved them from the burning house to the safety of the nearby fire truck. She then gently placed the pups on the steps of the fire-truck as firefighters fought the blaze."
Amanda and her babies were taken to the veterinarian, but one puppy named Amparo, who suffered severe burns, later
died.
The photos have soared across the Web, thanks to the online community
reddit, where the pics of the pups reached the coveted front page this afternoon. It's attracted more than 4,3000 "votes" and 540 comments.
