The odd incident of sex with sheep may raise an eyebrow or two, but now police in Sweden are hunting for an elderly man who allegedly raped a sheep after binding its back legs together. _Stodmarsh_6.jpg,_Stodmarsh_6.jpg

An eyewitness had the misfortune to see an elderly man, wearing a shirt without pants, engaging in sexual intercourse with a tied-up sheep. The Local reported Ronny Götesson of the Ronneby police, Sweden, said a farm hand caught the man in the act as he wandered past a field.
Götesson said "The employee saw that the whole episode was, how shall I put it, close to completion."
Police are now hunting for the elderly man on suspicion of cruelty to animals. Whilst sex with an animal is not a criminal offense in Sweden, cruelty towards animals is. As the bound sheep was unable to rebuff the sexual advances the perpetrator could be charged with cruelty if the sheep sustained an injury.
According to the Huffington Post a study in the Journal of Sexual Medicine revealed that men who engage in sex with animals are twice as likely to develop penile cancer, than those who restrain from zoophilia.
