Video: Rare 'hat-shaped' cloud hangs over Mount Fuji in Japan

The video shows a rare form of cloud that floated above Mount Fuji in Japan on Wednesday morning. The Japanese call it "tsurushi-gumo," which means "hanging cloud."

According to Gawker.com, BBC reported on Thursday that the "hat-shaped" cloud was spotted hanging over Mount Fuji on Wednesday morning. The cloud appeared over the mountain after a typhoon swept through the region.
The video shows the cloud with a cylindrical body and a wide bottom like a hat
BBC's Peter Dobbie said the cloud was likely caused by the typhoon. Gawker reports that the cloud disappeared after about 30 minutes.
Last December, BBC reported strange shaped clouds over West Yorkshire.
