Singer Jessica Sanchez gives advice on 'American Idol' audition

'American Idol' runner-up Jessica Sanchez, along with the top 10 finalists of the popular singing talent show have shared their advice to aspiring contestants of "American Idol" 2013 season, which started June 7 in Los Angeles, California.

According to americanidolnet.com, Sanchez shared this advice to would be contestants: “Don’t let the other contestants intimidate you. You’re there for a reason and this is your dream, just sing your heart out.”
Philip Philips, the 2012 winner, had this to say: “Be yourself and don’t worry about what people think…Know who you are when you come into this competition.”

Meanwhile Philip Philips, who has recently been discharged from a hospital in California after a successful kidney surgery is now set to join the rehearsal for the nationwide concert tour of the top 10 winners.
The concert tour will stage a total of 46 shows and will end on Sept. 21.

In a related development, top American Idol winner Philip Philips' family-owned pawn shop in Albany,Georgia has reportedly been burglarized while Philip's family were in California helping the 21-year-old singer recuperate after the kidney operation.
About $4,000 worth of merchandise and other items were reportedly taken by the burglars.
