Video: Topless Femen activist grabs Euro 2012 trophy
Topless women activists of the Ukrainian women's rights group Femen, "attacked" the Euro 2012 cup while it was on public display in the southeast of Ukraine. Ukraine is hosting the Euro 2012 tournament jointly with Poland.
reports the group Femen, attacked the Henri Delaunay Trophy in Dnepropetrovsk. According to Daily Mail
, a Femen member grabbed at the Euro 2012 trophy in display at a square in the city.
Inna Shevchenko, 21, an activist with the Femen group, removed her top to reveal her torso inscribed with the words, "F**K Euro 2012." She then grabbed hold of the cup, but security men standing nearby moved very quickly and in the melee that followed both the cup and the activist were brought down. Another activist standing nearby stripped to the waist to show the same slogan as Shevchenko's.

, the Femen official website said: “Platini’s Euro-roaster was taken down together with the pedestal It was attached to after FEMEN attacked it in Kiev."
Euro 2012 organizers said the second activist was a 46-year-old French journalist with a French women's magazine. Femen spokeswoman Anna Hutsol, said: "she [the French journalist] also supports our struggle against sexism and prostitution and decided to take part."

, in April, members of Femen staged a topless protest in support of Ukrainian women's rights to abortion. The activists climbed to the top of the Cathedral of St. Sophia in the center of Kiev and stripped to the waist in protest against a bill that would ban abortions in Ukraine.

According to Femen, Euro 2012 will lead to an increase in prostitution and make the country a sex tourist destination in Europe. The group has threatened to disrupt the tournament with their trademark topless protests.
