Riyanna, an 18-month-old baby, has been called many positive things such as adorable, but now she has also been called a suspected terrorist.
The baby was called a suspected terrorist on Tuesday night at a Ft Lauderdale airport. Riyanna and her parents were boarding a JetBlue flight when an employee for the airline came up to them. The employee asked them to exit the plane and said that TSA officials wanted to have a talk with them, according to
WPBF.
According to
Forbes. Riyanna's mother asked the employee why TSA officials wanted to talk to them, and the employee told them that their daughter's name was on the no-fly list.
Riyanna's father said that it made no sense to him. He wondered why an 18-month-old baby would be on the list. The family was taken off the plane and it was 30 minutes before they could board the plane again.
According to
The Atlantic Wire, the parents of Riyanna were not offered an apology from the TSA.
The family chose not to board the plane following the incident. JetBlue said that the company is investigating the incident.
