The self-defense expert, Tim Larkin, was denied entry into the UK because the government thinks that his 'kill or be killed' philosophy could encourage some sort of vigilante violence.
According to
DailyMail, Larkin is an expert in hand-to-hand combat. Larkin is also a former military intelligence officer. Larkin was planning on taking a tour of areas in the UK that were hit hard when the riots took place last year.
According to
News24, Larkin was turned away at a Las Vegas airport on Tuesday. Larkin runs Target Focus Training and his website claims that Target Focus' philosophy is that " violence is rarely the answer, but when it is, it is the only answer".
According to the
Telegraph, Larkin's site claims that he has been teaching his techniques for 20 years and he has been teaching law enforcement agencies and elite military in 58 countries throughout those 20 years.
Larkin blamed his entry refusal on negative press coverage and has called for the British government to change self-defense laws. Larkin said that people are hesitant to defend themselves against criminals because they are afraid that they will face prosecution.
He blamed his exclusion on negative press coverage and his call for changes to British law on self-defence, saying people were reluctant to fight back against criminals because "they're afraid of being prosecuted".
