Boxing: Cotto v. Mayweather weigh-in

Both boxing stars met May 4, 2012 in Las Vegas in front of a crowd of over 5,000 to witness the weigh-in for the Saturday night fight.
Floyd "Money" Mayweather has a current record of 42-0, with 26 knockouts. Miguel Cotto has a record of 37-2, with 30 knockouts. The two boxers stepped up to the scale today where Mayweather weighed in at 151 pounds, Cotto at 154 pounds.
After the weigh in, both boxers stood face to face where Mayweather said “You are fighting the best when you fight Mayweahter.” Cotto replied, “You never fought anyone like me.” The two began to argue with each other, but no physical contact was made. Both fighters were pulled away by their teams immediately after the argument escalated.
Prior to the weigh in for the main event, 40-year old Sugar Shane Mosley and Canelo Alverez stepped up to the scale for their weigh in for tomorrow night's fight. Alvarez, who has a record of 39-0-1 with 29 knockouts weighed in at 154-pounds. Mosley, who has a record of 46-7-1, with 39 knockouts, weighed in a half pound over weight, at 154.5-pounds. He was given one hour to lose the half pound before a second weigh in.
The undefeated Mayweather will meet his match Saturday night when he steps in the ring with Cotto. This is a highly anticipated fight and could very well be the “fight of the year.” Wthin days after the fight, Floyd Mayweather is expected to begin his 90-day jail sentence for an recent charge of domestic battery.
The fight will take place Saturday night May 5, 2012 (9 ET, HBO PPV, $59.95) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
UPDATE: At 7:10 PM EST, HBO Boxing posted an update that Shane Mosley weighed in again, this time at 154-pounds, and had dropped the half pound.
