Snooki in the media: Pint-sized pregnant star gets new TV show
It seems Snooki, that 4'9" whirlwind that made 'Jersey Shore' a habit for millions, is getting more popular with pregnancy. The guidette with a heart, and a temper, is getting a new show despite no longer doing the late night club scene.

It's another reality show, naturally, with MTV taking the two most exciting and controversial cast members from 'Jersey Shore', and the hottest, and putting them together; 'Snooki and JWoww' debuts June 21 and the two are doing a promo tour and along the way Snooki told
Access Hollywood that pregnancy hasn't slowed her down, but has created changes.
"It's different because now I'm not drinking. I'm usually partying and going to clubs but pregnancy made me grow up a lot," she said. "I guess (being pregnant) just made me more mature."
Snooki: Cranky during first trimester
Snooki, who's had minor run-ins with police, said that she's not going to change her style beyond not clubbing and drinking during her pregnancy (okay, she's not hitting the tanning salons, either). She said the first installments of the new show were shot during her first trimester - she's five months along now - when she was pretty "tired and cranky." So something to look forward to for fans given that a cranky Snooki tends to be a little on the entertaining side.
She got more attention with another piece in
People magazine, telling reporter Janine Rayford that she intends to stop making her customary "Whaaa" whine. "My baby will take over that sound," Snooki said. "I can't wait.” Her and her baby's Dad, boyfriend Jionni LaValle, aren't thinking about marriage just yet, she said. But it's coming.
“Jionni is an amazing guy and he’s going to be there for me no matter what. So, the fact I got a really nice ring - it feels nice,” she said, adding, “I’ll have a healthy baby first, then think about the wedding.”
