'Sin City' sequel confirmed and in pre-production

Frank Miller's "Sin City" will have a sequel and Robert Rodriguez will be returning as director. The film is currently in pre-production according to IMDB.com.

A copy of the graphic novel " A Dame to Kill For", which is now set to be the sequel to the hit film " Sin City".
Graphic novel series Sin City was made into a movie in 2005 and its much anticiapted sequel was finally announced on April 12th.
According to IMDB, the film is currently in pre production and " casting is underway. Looking to begin shooting this summer.". According to the movie database the film is set to come out in 2013.
According to Entertainment Weekly the sequel will be titled ' A Dame To Kill For" and Miller will resume his role as writer along with William Monahan and Dimension films will once again be the distributor.
Also according to Entertainment Weekly, director Rodriguez has been teasing fans will the hints of a sequel for almost a year.
NME.com published a statement by Rodriguez that said, "I have wanted to re-team with Frank Miller and return to the world he created since the day we wrapped the original, but have felt a duty to the fans to wait until we had something truly exceptional that would meet and exceed what have become epic expectations."
NME.com reports that official production will start this summer and casting begins next week. The article quotes Rodriguez as saying, " “A Dame To Kill For will certainly be worth the wait"
