A Canadian artist's driftwood creations Special
Local artist Renata Bee brought her creative spirit from Europe to Vancouver. Back there she was doing her both 2D and 3D designs using available materials from natural environment.

Inspired by enormous amount of driftwood in BC, she started putting together similar designs after collecting chunks of driftwood from a few trips outside Vancouver.
Renata has now a lot of materials to work with and is looking forward to taking more trips which will give her more materials for future projects. Apart from driftwood Renata uses dry grass, pine cones, fallen leaves in good shape or moss.
Here is a sample of her latest creation from specimen collected during the trip to Thompson River Valley last summer. The composition on the picture is about 60cm (2ft) high.
