Dark Knight Rises is IMDB's most anticipated 2012 movie

The forthcoming blockbuster has topped a popular poll on the IMDB website, beating movies such as the new James Bond film Skyfall as well as Men in Black III.

Metro reports that the third and final installment of the Christopher Nolan-directed Batman franchise is likely to be one of, if not the most successful movies to be released this year.
The A-list cast consists of Christian Bale, Tom Hardy as villain Bane, and Anne Hathaway will star as Catwoman.
Men in Black III can second in the list, while Sacha Baron Cohen's film 'The Dictator' came third.
According to perezhilton.com, 2008's Dark Knight - which starred the late Heath Ledger and grossed over $500 million in the USA alone - had the most visited web page on IMDB of the last ten years.
Thus beating off iconic movies of the twentieth century, for example 'The Godfather'.
