'Here's the Thing', Alec Baldwin's podcast with New York City public radio station, WNYC, got a scoop on Monday morning as the host was interviewing Saturday Night Live producer Lorne Michaels. They were in Michaels' office when Baldwin got snoopy.

The star of 30 Rock was wandering about in the same office Michaels has been in since he began SNL back in 1975. As the Huffington Post reported, Baldwin saw the cork board listing who's booked to host the show.
"The biggest names in the business are coming host the show," Baldwin read from the board. "Ben Stiller, Melissa McCarthy (who) won the Emmy award, and Katy Perry's coming and Jimmy Fallon, who's double-dipping on your payroll, Jonah Hill, and I don't want to ruin any other names, (but) Bieber's confirmed, he's the music and the (host)."
Late Night for Justin Bieber fans
That news leaves Bieber's tween and younger teen fans needing to get permission from parents to stay up that late and watch him on the as-yet unknown date he'll be hosting. NBC has not made any announcement about Bieber hosting the show, which he's not done before, and nor did it confirm Baldwin's revelation. It certainly makes sense that when Bieber hosts he would also be the musical guest on the night.
Bieber, now 17 but set to turn 18 on March 1, will not be the youngest to have ever hosted the show, there have been 9 hosts under the age of 18 including the youngest ever, Drew Barrymore, who hosted in 1982 when she was but 7. Jodie Foster hosted in 1976 at the age of 14 and Lindsay Lohan hosted in 2004 at 17 years and 304 days old.
Bieber has appeared as a guest of SNL, in April of 2010 and again in February of 2011.
