The New Year brings about numerous emotional feelings to everyone. It's known as the time to reflect and create resolutions to better ourselves, our relationships, and every aspect of our lives to get it right in the coming year. The movie New Years Eve touches upon every aspect of these details in this movie.
Similarly to Valentine's Day the movie has many story lines but it doesn't get confusing. The movie has about six main story lines with tons of Hollywood stars added in from Mayor Michael Bloomberg to Chris "Ludacris" Bridges. Through the numerous story lines the film celebrates all the feelings of love, lust, forgiveness, second chances and fresh starts. It reminds its audience that its another year to get it right. Set in New York City the film celebrates the New Years Eve in every way it knows how...celebrities, lights, and sparkle.
The whole movie comes together in the end, with numerous quotes telling and motivating its viewers to show this coming year could be 'the year of you.' To be the be the person that doesn't wait, yet accomplishes all their resolutions.
