Photo essay: Halloween in Small Town U.S.A. Special

Posted Oct 30, 2011 by Cynthia Trowbridge
As Halloween is quickly approaching my daughter, Laura, and I drove to a small town and captured some photos of homes all decked out for the day. I also took a photo in another town.
As we drove down the main street I actually stopped in the street and held up traffic as Laura leaned out the window taking these photos. To my surprise no one blew their horn at these crazy women.
Kitten being rescued.
I had three or four cars stopped behind me as Laura took this photo which is in a small park in town.
Proposal in the park.
Football players.
Hard at work.
Pizza delivery man.
We then drove through some neighborhoods and found some scary houses all decorated for the occassion.
Skeletons's coming out of the graveyard to scare those little trick or treaters!
There also needs to be bats to liven up the season.
Boo!!
How would you like spiders like these hanging out at your house?
If those spiders were a little too big how about these?
Of course we also need some ghosts.
