An eyewitness said the explosion was enough to tear the armored Rhino bus a part and throw it several meters over the road.
“It was a huge blast," said Mohammad Wali, a student who had crossed the road just ahead of the (ISAF) convoy. "It threw the bus about 10m from the blast and sent shrapnel all across the area."
“We can confirm that 13 International Security Assistance Force members have died,” said a spokesman for the
International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Kabul, giving no further details.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for the Afghan interior ministry said” Three civilian and a police officer, were also killed in the attack on a convoy of military vehicles attacks.”
