Apple co-founder Steve Jobs passes away at 56

Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple and former CEO passed away today, the company has announced. Jobs changed the world by putting a virtual world at the fingertips of people.

Steve Jobs is best known for co-founding Apple. Jobs made personal computers, tablets, smartphones and digital animation mass-market products.
According to Gizmodo, Jobs passed away on October 5th, due to pancreatic cancer. Jobs was only 56 years old.
The company also posted a memorial on the front page of its website, saying, "Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being...Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple."
Jobs co-founded Apple in 1976 alongside his childhood friend Steve Wozniak.
Jobs was called a master innovator by many industry experts, even on par with Thomas Edison. Jobs changed the world of recorded music, communications and computing.
Art Levinson is the chairman of Genentech and he said that Steve’s leadership saved Apple and placed the company as the world’s top innovative technology company, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Steve Jobs made endless contributions which lead Apple to success and inspired Apple’s employees.
