Their baby girl was born on Sunday morning at 7:55 (PST), weighing in at 7lbs 10oz.
Harper Seven's name appears to stem from her birth weight, time and month, while father David also wore the famous number seven shirt for Manchester United and England - and even has the number tattooed on his right arm in roman numerals.
Victoria delivered the family's new member at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.
Expressing his joy on Facebook, David wrote: "I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham. She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx."
Several former Spice Girls and other friends of the celebrity couple tweeted their congratulatory messages, including: Lord Alan Sugar, Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Mel B and Sally Lyndley.
It has been reported that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge may be godparents to Harper Seven, which could have been discussed when David welcomed the couple to LA last week.
