It was the usual day in downtown Toronto. The Luminato arts festival was taking place, busy shoppers buying more goods and a few dozen cyclists riding around on their bikes completely naked.

On Saturday, people around the world took part in World Naked Bike Ride day where participants do exactly that: ride on your bicycle, or any set of wheels, absolutely naked.
At the corner of Yonge Street and Dundas Street in downtown Toronto, hundreds of Torontonians immediately captured the event on camera with a chuckle. Even the cyclists took out their camera and took photos of their fellow bike riders and the ones taking photos on the street.
The purpose of the naked bike ride is to encourage “less gas and more ass” and to depend less on oil, reports the Toronto Sun.
Cities in Austria, Israel, Japan, Peru, South Africa, New Zealand and other countries are also taking part in the annual event.
