Eddinson Volquez, another Reds pitcher, is looking to add on to his success from last season, and help to improve the skills of Aroldis Chapman.
The Reds' prized new acquisition threw a bullpen session for about two hours on Thursday. People who witnessed it said he threw well and felt well after.
Chapman, who was just recently signed a six-year contract worth more than $30 million USD, has been speculated to be one of the best new pitchers in the game. The Reds are hoping they hit a jackpot.
Chapman, regarded as one of the top prospects in baseball, seems excited to get things going in Arizona. As of now, the Reds pitching game is surviving on nothing more than a wing and a prayer.
